The Ultimate Survivor

M-Net’s Survivor: Santa Carolina was one of the hardest things I ever decided to do. It was a charity season, and I played for my favorite organization, THE HOMESTEAD, giving it my all. The physical and mental challenges were grueling, as were making alliances and enemies. I was grateful to be voted South Africa’s favorite, financially assisting The Homestead. It made me realize you never know your capabilities until tested.

Come Dine with me

Comparisons are odious, so the saying goes. But no matter which sphere you are in, there will always be a measure of competition. But the important thing is NOT to try and be like anyone else. Just be you. You are enough.

Going into Come Dine with me, I looked at the competition and thought I didn’t stand a chance. But just continued regardless. And ended up winning the prize which I donated to Kitty and Puppy Haven. So stand on your own soapbox and be uniquely you.

I was approached by a top notch recruitment agency to put together a series of webinars, to be broadcast weekly to their clients, at lunchtime. The result was a fascinating series of people talking about how communication affects so many areas of business.

Webinars are a great way to reach hybrid workers or different geographic nodes. I love the challenge of taking a brief and turning it into something meaningful for the people on the other side of the screen, in a way that is accessible and easily digestible.
